What is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist?

Registered Holistic Nutritionists (RHNs) are professionals trained in Natural Nutrition and complementary therapies, whose principal function is to educate individuals and groups about the benefits and health impact of optimal nutrition.

Mainstream medicine does not emphasize the significance of poor nutrition as a major cause of a wide range of health disorders. Although most people are aware of the benefits of sound nutrition, the range of conflicting information available to the consumer is often confusing.  RHNs guide their clients through the maze of information from books, magazines, supplements and diets on the market. They work with clients to identify and help correct the nutritional causes of disease; they are qualified to design personalized diet and lifestyle programs to optimize the clients’ health.

Are the services of an RHN covered by insurance?

Yes, they are covered by some extended health care coverage plans.  It is recommended that you contact your health care provider to ensure they have an extended plan that will accommodate nutritional consultations or an allowance that will cover additional therapies.

How does BIE (bio-energetic intolerance elimination) work?

A lightweight state-of-the-art device (GSR-120 BIE Unit) is used to transmit a low electronic frequency (5 micro amps) directly on to various acupressure points (without the use of needles) on the body to stimulate and clear any blockages in energy while the client is exposed to the allergenic substance in glass vials. The glass vials contain the unique magnetic signature that is specific to that allergen. While the blockages are clearing, the body’s cells are literally being reprogrammed to recognize the samples’ frequency so that it will no longer react when exposed to it. This process takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

How many sessions are required?

It requires 1 to 4 sessions to clear the symptoms of an allergy/intolerance. In each session up to 4 allergens or intolerances can be cleared at once. Sessions are dependant on the stress level of the client, strength of their immune system, level of toxicity, and the client’s level of hydration. Eighty to 85% of clients feel relief from their symptoms after the first appointment. Once the intolerance is removed, it is removed without requiring annual visits.

Are there any side effects?

Although most clients experience no side effects, some clients may experience a headache, sore throat, sinus congestion, lethargic feeling, or even nausea as part of the “healing phase”.  These are signs of the body regenerating new cells and cleansing itself after that allergy has been cleared.  The healing phase, if any, is gone within 24-72 hours after a treatment.

How soon will I notice results?

Most clients find immediate results after the first visit, while others require several visits to detect and remove all suspect causes, particularly if an individual has many intolerances.  It is much easier to regulate ingested sensitivities, rather than environmental sensitivities, due to the fact that there are literally thousands of potential environmental allergens that one can inhale or absorb through the skin.

Absolutely. An iridology assessment gives information about inherited and acquired weaknesses. While acquired states may be suppressed by drugs and not necessarily cause any symptoms at the moment, the iridology assessment can reveal their presence, or absence, in the body. 

If there are inherited weakness, sooner or later they will lead to symptoms. Proper care and preventative measures are crucial in the management of the inherited weaknesses.
